Venice

Venice is located on 118 islands surrounded by over 170 canals and it is a real live museum. You will be fascinated by its history that is present at every step, with its channels and bridges, St. Mark's Square, numerous palaces and other buildings.

Venice has over 400 bridges and a lot of them have unusual names. One of the most famous is Ponte dei Sospiri (The Bridge of Sighs) whose legend says that it got its name after the sighs of lovers who would kiss during the sunset, but the truth is that the prisoners could see the world for the last time from that bridge before going to prison. You must definitely cross over the Rialto Bridge and visit its surroundings and the near market where you will find some souvenirs of Murano glass for sure. 

The most known "street" is Canal Grande, that goes through the old part of the town. Walk through other streets where lots of artists used to gather around and admire the skill of Venetian masters of architecture. Use your free time for a ride with gondola, panoramic tour by the water taxi and enjoy drinking a cappuccino.
